Hello! Welcome to Little Arrows Farm, we are so happy you found us. We are the Richters: Ryan, Alicia, Audrey and Abby. Our little slice of heaven is located in Battle Ground Washington and has been where we call home since 2022. We spent 2 years cleaning up the property and renovating the house because we truly believed this place was a diamond in the rough. We are not done with all that we have in mind for this place however, we are so grateful for all that we have accomplished thus far and look forward to sharing our special place with all that come.
The property sits on 5 acres and contains pastures with beautiful old-growth cedar trees. Our property backs up to what was once the Cedars golf course and is now the Gordy Jolma family natural area. Having the 118 acres of natural area behind us provides for a beautiful view as well as more interaction with wildlife. One of the first projects we had completed was a new exterior perimeter fence that could contain whatever animal we wanted to put on the pasture. Thus far we have had goats, bunnies, pigs, sheep, cats, ducks, a pony, and chickens on our farm, and hope to continue to add new animals to our home. We also have a large garden that we have big dreams for. There was no garden area when we moved in so we carefully selected a spot and have been working diligently to ensure the space will be successful for years to come.
We purchased this property in hopes of providing our girls with a space where they could truly have room to explore and grow. In a world where access to natural areas are dwindling and backyards are shrinking we wanted to preserve a space for our girls to experience firsthand what hard work is, where their food comes from and opportunities to interact with nature. Little Arrows Farm was born from the idea that just as an arrow is a symbol for forward direction, our children are our future and it is up to us to aim them in the right direction.
